Some Cruisers' handlebars are swept back at a sharp angle to the arms' angle of entry. Most models of our Hippo Hands are designed to allow for an arm position from 70 to 90 degrees to the handlebar grips. If your wrists have to be bent at a sharp angle to fully grasp the control grips, let us know, we now have a specific model of Hippo Hands for swept back handlebars or "ape hangers".

On Sports bikes, you must assume that you'll need to fabricate and install some sort of brackets or small brush guards, in order to prevent blowback of the Hippo Hands against the levers. It is possible that this will not be necessary in your case, but I prefer you consider this possibility before you order.

Just wanted you to know that the hippo hands arrived at my front door this afternoon. They are exactly what I had hoped they would be. I've all ready put them on the Wing and not only do they look great they fit perfectly. Haven't had a chance to actually ride with them but I can tell that I'll probably be able to go back to summer weight gauntlets when I ride. I much prefer a lighter glove to my heavy winter ones. I'll continue to carry my winter gloves and my electric liners just in case but I'm of the opinion that they'll never get used.
