Bryan Ramey, Jan 5 2010: I guess my first testimonial would be from this morning. I live in the southeaster US where it doesn’t get “cold.” I purchased hippo hands back in the fall and had tested them without gloves in 45 degree weather. However, today it was much colder than that. According to the weather.com site, it was 23 degrees. I think it was really colder, but whatever. I wore my favorite, thin leather, lightly insulated cheap wally world gloves and only felt slight chill on the back of my hands and one of my pinky fingers got a little chilly. I think that your product is the best cold weather product ever invented. I appreciate it and would like to know when hippo hands is going to make some type of face protection. =) Thanks. Bryan from upstate South Carolina
Hi Daniel...
Two years ago, I bought hand deflectors, hoping they would help my
cold hands. They were actually more expensive than my Hippo
Hands and only knocked off some wind. Better used as bug and
rain deflectors. After riding yesterday morning at highway
speeds, knowing the HH were barely touching the levers, I came home,
installed the deflectors and put the HH back on. That was
instead of making the brackets you recommend on your website.
They work together REALLY well. That's why the left HH looks
like it's 'bent' kinda funny. It really isn't, it's just the
deflector 'pooching' out. Again, thank you!!! Here are
some pics. I tried to send 7 this morning and it was bounced
back. I'm gonna try again... with two. If it works, I'll
try two more... till they're all to ya. You can choose what
you like.
