Our friend, Hugo Pinksterboer, who is Editor in chief at Motorcyclists’ Action Group in Netherlands just tested Hippo Hands for an article they're writing for this fall... Here's the photo he sent and what he had to say (in his words):
Just made the pic below. Not the best weather for a ride, but it definitely showed what Hippo Hands are good for.
I tried them on several rides. To put the Hippo Hands effect to the test, I removed the GSA’s hand guards on the left side, using a Hippo Hand on the right. After 20 tot 25 minutes in, around and out of town (speed limits 20, 45, and 60 mph respectively) my left hand was cold to the bone, taking over ten minutes to warm up. My right hand was warmer than my face (modular helmet, visor down). Imagine what happens after an hour… That says it all, as far as I'm concerned!
