STEP 1

Prepare the Hand Guards

Apply adhesive double-sided Velcro straps around the outside rail of each hand guard. (We also offer Hand guards & Velcro straps!)

STEP 2

Slide On Your Hand Covers

Open all Velcro closures and slide the hand covers onto the hand guards, ensuring the hand opening is accessible.

STEP 3

Secure the Tabs

Wrap the sewn-in tabs around the Velcro loop. Close the hand opening Velcro and the small tab on the neoprene gauntlet.

STEP 4

Finishing Up

Stretch the neoprene cuff around the handlebars, secure the Velcro, and you’re ready!

First 1200 mile review

I recently installed the Hippohand Backcounty's before my 1200-mile jaunt down to central Texas from northern Colorado. They have been exactly what I was looking for. My hands never got cold (lows in the 30's) nor too hot (highs in the 70's), and they stayed dry during two pretty intense thunderstorms I passed through. I know these are intended for dual sports, but on my Yamaha Super Tenere they provided just the right amount of coverage. Great onroad, and even better for off-road use!

I had the Alcan's a few years ago, and they were great for commuting in the wet side of the PNW, but too big for when standing on the pegs and working the bike in more technical offroad sections.

The Super Tenere is a great versatile bike and all three models fit it great, but if you like to stand and ride in technical stuff the Backcountry is a great choice. We appreciate the time you took to write a review. Glad to have you in the Warm Hands Revolution!

Well designed, they definitely work in most conditions

I use these on my KTM 890 adventure and my KTM 500 exc-f. They are easy to swap between bikes. I have used them on the highway for extended periods in the 20-30 degree weather with grip warmers and this combo has worked pretty well. In the 30s my hands have been pretty comfortable, but in the 20s they begin to get cold. Overall I think this product is excellent, well designed, and easy to use.

Enduro & dirt bike motorcycle hand covers

Fit and finish are excellent. I purchased the Enduro so I could swap between bikes. Only reason I gave 4 stars (vs 5) is that the other two options are so big, and the Enduro (purposefully) does not have the enclosure, which would be great if it was an option.

Thanks for taking the time to write your review, Dan. The Backcountry (the model you purchased) is 9' deep, then the Rogues are 10.5' deep and the Alcans are 12' deep—so they are a little bigger. They all have the same size front-facing panel which makes them easy to swap between different bikes. The only model that currently features the cuff enclosure is the Alcan.

Hippos on a Hog?

Running a set of these over a pair of Memphis Shades handguards on my 2022 Road Glide Limited and I have to say they are awesome. With these and my heated grips I am toasty warm and dry here in the rainy PNW.
